The first thing you will need to do is to get off of any other blood pressure medication you are taking now. This needs to be done under the supervision of your medical practitioner and never attempted on your own as it could lead to serious health problems.

After that is taken care of you will be able to start the over the counter blood pressure medication for managing your blood pressure levels. Insure that you keep close communications open with your medical practitioner to insure that all is well as a result of the switch.
